Zygaena centaureae is a moth species that belongs to the Zygaenidae family. This species is distributed in Ukraine and Russia. It is morphologically similar to Zygaena cynarae, and was historically classified as a form of that species. Compared to Zygaena cynarae, Zygaena centaureae has stronger antennae, and its fifth wing spot is elongated towards the hind angle of the wing.
