About Zosterops atricapilla Salvadori, 1879

Zosterops atricapilla Salvadori, 1879, reaches a total length of 9 to 11 centimetres, and bears a slight resemblance to the Sangkar white-eye. Its back is olive green, and its iris is brown. Both its bill and feet are black in colour. This species produces vocalizations that are soft twitters. It lives in mountain forests and alpine meadows at elevations between 700 and 3000 metres, found on the mountains of Sumatra and Borneo; on Borneo it occurs particularly at Mount Kinabalu, Gunung Mulu, and Mount Batu Patap.
