About Zenobiellina subrufescens (J.S.Miller, 1822)

For explanation of morphological terms used here, see gastropod shell. The shell of this species measures 4-6 mm by 6-10 mm. It has 4.5 to 5 convex whorls with a moderate suture. It is slightly shouldered above its periphery. The aperture usually has no internal lip. The umbilicus is very narrow, and is partly covered by the reflected columellar margin. The shell is pale brown, very finely striated, thin, and transparent. This species is known to occur in Great Britain and Ireland, France, and Spain. The eggs of this species measure 1.5 × 1 mm.
