Zenobia pulverulenta (W.Bartram) Pollard is a deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub that reaches 0.5 to 1.8 meters in height. Its leaves are arranged in a spiral pattern, and are ovate to elliptic in shape, measuring 2–7 cm (1–3 in) long. It produces white, bell-shaped, sweetly scented flowers that are 12 mm (0.47 in) long and 10 mm (0.39 in) broad. Its fruit is a dry, five-valved capsule.
