Within its European distribution, it occurs in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, and Ukraine. In the Czech Republic, this species is classified as Endangered (EN) in Bohemia and Critically Endangered (CR) in Moravia. It inhabits relatively dry areas.
