The black-chinned yuhina, scientifically named Yuhina nigrimenta Blyth, 1845, is a bird species that belongs to the white-eye family Zosteropidae. This species occurs in the Indian subcontinent, ranging from the Himalayas eastward into the adjacent hilly areas of Southeast Asia. It can be found across Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Tibet, and Thailand. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
