Yucca potosina Rzed. is a plant species in the Asparagaceae family. Its common English names are Potosí palm soapwort and Potosi palm. This species is native to east central Mexico, growing across the region from Hidalgo to San Luís Potosí. It is sometimes cultivated as an ornamental plant, but is not widely grown for this purpose. Yucca potosina is a rather large, tree-like species that can reach up to 8 meters in height, with occasional branching. Its leaves are stiff, narrow, and rough, and can grow up to 100 cm long. The plant's inflorescence can reach up to 120 cm in length. Its flowers are white and elongated, reaching up to 50 mm long and 15 mm across.
