About Yoyetta australicta Popple & Emery, 2022

This species, scientifically named Yoyetta australicta, was described by Popple & Emery in 2022. Its forewings measure between 24 and 27 millimeters in length. The species is distributed across southeastern South Australia and southeastern inland Australia. It occurs in New South Wales from an area near Coonabarabran south to Tallaganda National Park, and is also present in the Australian Capital Territory. In South Australia, it can be found from Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges south to Mount Barker. It is associated with eucalypt woodland and parkland habitats.
