About Xylocarpus moluccensis (Lam.) M.Roem.

Xylocarpus moluccensis (Lam.) M.Roem. can grow up to 30 meters (98 feet) tall, with a trunk diameter that reaches up to 70 centimeters (28 inches). This species produces creamy-white flowers. Its fruit is rounded, and can grow up to 11 centimeters (4.3 inches) in diameter. It grows naturally in a range that stretches from the Sundarbans of India and Bangladesh, across Mainland Southeast Asia and Malesia, to tropical Australia. Its native habitat is mangrove swamps.
