Xya pfaendleri, commonly called Pfaendler's molehopper, is a species of pygmy mole cricket. This species occurs across Europe and Asia. Its confirmed distribution includes Southern Europe: Hungary, eastern Croatia, western Austria, southern Slovakia, and the Balkan Peninsula, specifically Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, and European Turkey. Its range also reaches Eastern Europe in southern and western Ukraine, and extends into the Eastern Mediterranean, covering southern Romania, Cyprus, Israel, the Greek mainland, and the Greek island of Rhodes.
