Scientific name: Xestia sexstrigata Haworth, 1809

Technical description and variation: The forewing is greyish rufous, with dark grey veins. The stigmata have dark outlines; only the apex of the claviform stigma is marked, and the orbicular stigma is sometimes paler. All lines and shades are dark and distinct. The hindwing is luteous fuscous, becoming darker towards the termen, and the fringe is yellowish.
