Xerosecta cespitum (Draparnaud, 1801) is a species of small air-breathing land snail. It is a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Geomitridae, which consists of hairy snails and their close relatives. This snail is native to a range that includes south Spain, Mallorca, southern France, northwestern Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Elba, and the area from Morocco to Tunisia. As part of its mating behavior, this species of snail produces and uses love darts.
