Xanthoria ulophyllodes is a species of lichen that belongs to the family Teloschistaceae. It is mostly found growing on rocks, with some occurrences growing on bark. This species was formally described as a new species in 1931 by Finnish lichenologist Veli Räsänen. In North America, a common vernacular name for this lichen is powdery sunburst lichen.
