Watsonalla uncinula (Borkhausen, 1790) has different average wingspans for each sex: males have a wingspan of 18 to 30 mm, while females have a wingspan of 25 to 35 mm. This species produces three generations annually, and adult moths are active in flight from April through the end of September. It is distributed across France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and the western and southern regions of the Balkan Peninsula.
