Volegalea cochlidium (Linnaeus, 1758) is a species of marine mollusk. The shell of an adult Volegalea cochlidium measures between 60 millimeters and 150 millimeters in size. This species is distributed across the Eastern Indian Ocean, including waters off Southern India. It is also found in the Pacific Ocean, ranging around the Philippines and Vietnam, and off the coast of Australia, specifically in the Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia.
