About Vitula broweri Heinrich, 1956
Vitula broweri, commonly called Brower's vitula moth, is a species of snout moth belonging to the genus Vitula. This species was first described by Carl Heinrich in 1956. It can be found across a large portion of North America, with recorded locations including British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. This moth has a wingspan that measures 14 to 16 millimeters. Its forewings are pale brownish fuscous, with a distinct area covered in a fine white powder. Its hindwings are pale fuscous, with slightly darker shading along the veins and terminal margin.
