Viscum cruciatum, commonly known as red-berry mistletoe, is a mistletoe species belonging to the Santalaceae family. It is native to Lebanon, Morocco, Israel, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, and Syria. This plant has small leaves. Its flowers grow with four petals. The species produces red berries that each contain a single seed. All parts of this plant are poisonous if consumed by humans. Its fruit is not harmful to birds, which act as the dispersers of the plant's seeds. Viscum cruciatum is used as a Christmas decoration.
