Cassin's vireo, with the scientific name Vireo cassinii Xantus de Vesey, 1858, is a small North American songbird. Its breeding range extends from southern British Columbia in Canada through the western coastal United States states of California, Oregon, and Washington. This species migrates through forests of the western United States. It migrates in early spring and late fall, and spends the winter in areas ranging from southern Arizona's Sonoran Desert to southern Mexico, including parts of Baja California and Mexico's Pacific coast.
