About Viburnum treleasei Gand.

Viburnum treleasei Gand., commonly called Azorean laurustinus and known as folhado in Portuguese, is a species in the genus Viburnum that is endemic to the Azores. It grows in sloping areas, in natural forests dominated by Juniperus brevifolia, Laurus azorica, Ilex perado, and Erica azorica. It is typically found at altitudes above 200 m (660 ft), and it occurs on eight of the nine Azorean islands.
