Veronica densifolia (F.Muell.) F.Muell. is a small, tufted, prostrate perennial decussate shrub that reaches roughly 10 cm (3.9 in) in height and around 20 cm (7.9 in) in width. Its leaves are mostly crowded, elliptic in shape, about 5 mm (0.20 in) long and 2.5 mm (0.098 in) wide, with fine hairs along the margins. They are sessile and have a blunt apex. The corolla can be white, pink, or purple, and measures 6–9 mm (0.24–0.35 in) long. The calyx is 4–6 mm (0.16–0.24 in) long, with lobes that resemble leaves. Flowering of this species takes place in summer. The fruit is an egg-shaped capsule approximately 4 mm (0.16 in) long and 3 mm (0.12 in) wide, with hairy margins and a notch at its apex. This species grows on stony, windy outcrops and in low scrubland located in the alpine areas of New South Wales.
