About Verbena lasiostachys Link

Verbena lasiostachys Link is a perennial herb. It grows one or more hairy stems that range from decumbent to erect, reaching up to 80 centimeters in length. Its hairy leaves are toothed or lobed, and bear short, winged petioles. The inflorescence consists of one to three spikes of flowers: these spikes are dense at the tip and more open toward the lower part. Each small tubular flower has a hairy calyx made of sepals, and a purple corolla that is no more than half a centimeter wide.
