Valeriana arizonica, commonly known as Arizona valerian, is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the Caprifoliaceae family. It is native to five U.S. states: Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. This plant is a perennial forb that can grow up to 45 centimeters (18 inches) tall. It grows in coniferous forests, at elevations ranging between 1,400 and 2,400 meters, which is equivalent to 4,500 to 8,000 feet.
