Uvaria leichhardtii, commonly called zig-zag vine, is a vine species that belongs to the Annonaceae plant family. It is native to certain regions of Malesia, New Guinea, and the eastern Australian states of Queensland and New South Wales. This vine produces orange fruit that can be found on the plant year-round. The fruit has a pleasant, piquant flavour similar to orange sherbet, and it is used to make sauces for gourmet dishes.
