Utricularia cornuta Michx., commonly known as the horned bladderwort, is a small to medium-sized carnivorous plant species belonging to the family Lentibulariaceae. It is generally considered a perennial species. This plant is endemic to North America, and its native range includes the Bahamas, Cuba, Canada, and the United States. It grows as either a terrestrial or subaquatic plant, found in marshes, swamps, and shallow water pools, most often at lower altitudes. The species was originally described and published by André Michaux in 1803.
