Its confirmed native regions include Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China, East Himalaya, Hainan, India, Japan, Java, Korea, Laos, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Guinea, New South Wales, the Northern Territory, Pakistan, the Philippines, Queensland, Sri Lanka, Sulawesi, Sumatra, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Western Australia.
