Uma thurmanae Derycke, Gottscho, Mulcahy & De Queiroz, 2020, commonly called the Mohawk Dunes fringe-toed lizard, is a species of phrynosomatid lizard that is endemic to the U.S. state of Arizona. Its scientific name honors American actress Uma Thurman; the name acts both as a pun on the genus name Uma, and a tribute to Thurman for her conservation advocacy. This lizard is found only in the Mohawk Dunes, a dune system located west of the Mohawk Mountains in southern Arizona.
