About Ulosyneda valens H.Edwards, 1881
Cissusa valens, commonly known as the vigorous cissusa moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species is found in North America. Confirmed records of the species span from Utah eastward to Colorado, southward to western Texas, and westward to Arizona. The wingspan of Cissusa valens is approximately 42 mm. Adult moths have been observed in flight from March through September. The larvae of this moth feed on plants from the Quercus oak genus.
