Uloborus diversus Marx, 1898 is typically brown, and lighter color morphs of this species are more common than dark (melanic) ones. While individual body patterns and markings vary, most members of the species have a mottled line that runs lengthwise along the abdomen. Leg markings are distinct and show clearly visible rings. This species displays minor sexual dimorphism: males have tibial spines and a slightly flattened abdomen.
