Ucides is a genus of mangrove crabs that belongs to Ucididae, a monotypic family. This genus contains two species. Ucides cordatus (Linnaeus, 1763) is found along the Atlantic coast, ranging from Florida to Uruguay. Ucides occidentalis (Ortmann, 1897) is found along the Pacific coast, ranging from Mexico to Peru.
