About Tyspanodes hypsalis Warren, 1891
Tyspanodes hypsalis is a moth species that belongs to the family Crambidae. It was first described by Warren in 1891. This species is distributed across China, Korea, and Taiwan. Adult individuals have a wingspan measuring 26–28 mm. Their forewings are primarily white, with a pale yellowish color at the very base. The open spaces between the forewing veins are marked with thick black lines. Two roughly square black spots sit within the forewing cell, and three additional spots with irregular shapes are located closer to the base of the wing. The hindwings are blackish in overall color, with a broad patch of whitish ochreous covering their central area.
