Typha laxmannii Lepech., commonly known as the graceful cattail, is a wetland plant species that is widespread across Europe and Asia. It does not grow as tall as many other species in the Typha genus, rarely reaching a height of more than 130 cm. The plant has a clear, noticeable gap between its staminate (male) flowers and pistillate (female) flowers.
