Turriplicifer australis (Swainson, 1820) is a marine species endemic to Australia, found in South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia. The shell of this species reaches a maximum length of 37.7 mm. The shell has a smooth, polished surface, and is turreted in shape. The shell is primarily brown, with a broad yellowish band that is stained with chestnut. It also features dark brown bands, as well as white bands marked with cinnamon-colored spots.
