Turraea obtusifolia, commonly known as the small honeysuckle tree, small honeysuckle bush, or South African honeysuckle, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Meliaceae. It is native to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Eswatini, and South Africa. Typically reaching 1 to 5 meters (2 to 15 feet) in height and spreading 1 to 3 meters (2 to 10 feet) in width, it is hardy in USDA zones 10 through 11. It is recommended for container growing and is suggested for use as bonsai.
