Adults of Tropidosaura gularis have a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 5–6 cm (2.0–2.4 in). The preferred natural habitat of Tropidosaura gularis is shrubland. Tropidosaura gularis is oviparous. An adult female of the species may lay a clutch of 4–8 eggs, and each egg measures an average of 11.5 x 7.5 mm (0.45 x 0.30 inches).
