Tropidomantis tenera (Stal, 1858) is a species of praying mantis. This species is found in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Within Indonesia, it occurs on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Flores, Sumba, Sulawesi, and Borneo. Adult females of the species reach approximately 2.5 centimeters in total length, while males are smaller in size. Tropidomantis tenera can be identified by a yellow median line that runs from its thorax all the way to the tip of its abdomen.
