The black-faced laughingthrush, with the scientific name Trochalopteron affine (Blyth, 1843), is a bird species that belongs to the family Leiothrichidae. This species occurs in the Eastern Himalayas. Its range stretches eastward from eastern Nepal to Arunachal Pradesh, India, and continues on to Myanmar. It is also found in Bhutan and southeastern Tibet. Small, separated populations of the black-faced laughingthrush also live in continental Southeast Asia.
