Trigonidium cicindeloides, scientifically named Trigonidium cicindeloides Rambur, 1838, is a species of sword-tail cricket. It has a widespread distribution across Africa, southern Europe, Asia, and Arabia. During the mating season, males of this species produce sound by vibrating the last two joints of their maxillary palpi. They use this sound to either attract females for mating or drive off other rival males.
