Trifolium cyathiferum Lindl. is a low-growing annual plant. It produces a many-flowered, bowl-shaped inflorescence. Individual flowers range in color from white to yellow, with pink tips. Its bloom period runs from May to August. This species is native to western North America, where its distribution stretches from Alaska and the Yukon, through the Pacific Northwest, down to California, Utah, and Montana. One documented occurrence is in the California Coast Ranges at Ring Mountain, California, where it grows alongside tomcat clover. It typically grows in spring-moist valleys, chaparral, and forest habitats, at elevations below 2,500 metres (8,200 ft).
