Trichopsocus clarus (Banks, 1908) is a species of the order Psocodea, which was previously named Psocoptera, belonging to the family Trichopsocidae. Individuals of this species are colored either yellow or orange. This species is distributed across Europe, where it has been recorded in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Azores, the Canary Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Madeira, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. It also occurs in Australia and New Zealand. T. clarus can be found living on the foliage of a wide variety of trees.
