Trichopetalum plumosum (Ruiz & Pav.) J.F.Macbr. is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the family Asparagaceae. It is one of three species in the Asparagaceae family that are endemic to Chile; the other two endemic Chilean species in this family are Herreria stellata and Oziroe arida. This species is distributed across the area between Chile's Coquimbo and Araucanía regions.
