About Tricholoma pessundatum (Fr.) Quél.

This species, Tricholoma pessundatum (Fr.) Quél., has an orangish cap that can reach up to 18 centimetres (7 in) across. The cap margin is lighter in color, and the cap surface becomes viscid when wet. Its gills are white, but they develop stains over time, and their method of attachment to the stem varies.
