Trichaptum abietinum (Pers. ex J.F.Gmel.) Ryvarden is a species of poroid fungus belonging to the order Hymenochaetales. It is a saprophytic fungus that grows on dead conifer wood. Its cap is white to gray, measures 1 to 4 centimeters wide, and is usually no more than 0.5 centimeters thick. The fungus forms shelf-like or fan-shaped structures, and has brownish, leathery flesh. Its spores are white, cylindrical, and smooth. This species is not edible. Fungi similar to Trichaptum abietinum include Trichaptum biforme, Bjerkandera adusta, and Trametes versicolor.
