About Tremandra stelligera R.Br. ex DC.

Tremandra stelligera is an upright, sprawling shrub that reaches up to 2 meters (6 feet 7 inches) in height. It produces dark green, egg-shaped leaves that grow up to 5 centimeters (2.0 inches) long and 4 centimeters (1.6 inches) wide. Hairs are present on both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves, and leaf margins are sporadically toothed. Its flowers can be pink, blue, or purple, and have either four or five petals. Flowers measure 1.6 centimeters (0.63 inches) across and grow from a hairy pedicel. Flowering occurs either from January to May, or from July to December. This species is native to the south-west corner of Western Australia, where it grows in a variety of habitats in loam and sandy soils.
