Trapania lineata Haefelfinger, 1960 is a goniodorid nudibranch that reaches a maximum body length of 15 mm. Its body is translucent white, marked with a pattern of opaque white lines that extend across the body and into the lateral papillae. The oral tentacles, rhinophores, gills, and lateral processes all have yellow-orange pigment at their tips. A narrow white stripe runs along the tail, which ends in an orange tip. This species was first described from specimens collected at Villefranche-sur-Mer in the Mediterranean Sea, and its known range extends from Antalya, Turkey to Spain. Trapania lineata feeds on Entoprocta, a group of organisms that commonly grow on sponges.
