Trabala vishnou, commonly known as the rose-myrtle lappet moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Lasiocampidae. This moth is found across southern Asia, with documented occurrences in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, China, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Four subspecies of Trabala vishnou are currently recognized. In terms of ecology, the larvae of this species have been successfully reared using Populus species, and they also naturally feed on castor, jamun, pomegranate, rose, and sandalwood plants. A braconid wasp called Cotesia trabalae is a confirmed parasitoid of this moth.
