Toxorhina magna is a species of limoniid crane fly that belongs to the family Limoniidae. This species is found along the East Coast of the United States, ranging as far west as Michigan and as far south as Florida. Its yellowish brown color is the most noticeable difference between it and the related grayish species Toxorhina muliebris, which occurs in the northern portions of T. magna's range.
