Tournefortia gnaphalodes (L.) R.Br. is a species of flowering plant in the Boraginaceae family. It has several common names: sea lavender, bay lavender, sea rosemary, iodine bush, and beach heliotrope. This species is native to Florida, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda, northeastern Colombia, and Venezuela. It is a semi-succulent evergreen shrub that grows to 5 ft (1.5 m) in height, and it is typically found growing in coastal areas. It is occasionally cultivated as an ornamental plant, and it is often used for dune stabilization.
