Tortricidia pallida, commonly known as the red-crossed button slug, is a moth species belonging to the family Limacodidae. It was first described by Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in 1854. This moth is found in eastern North America, ranging from Nova Scotia westward to Minnesota, and southward to Louisiana. Its larvae feed on the leaves of a wide variety of shrubs and trees, including beech, cherry, oak, and willow.
