About Tongeia fischeri (Eversmann, 1843)

Scientific name: Tongeia fischeri (Eversmann, 1843). For E. fischeri Ev. (78 b, c), the upperside of both sexes is black-brown. Males have a chain of very thin blue-white dashes before the margin of the hindwing. The underside is very similar to the preceding species, Everes argiades, but has a darker grey ground colour, more distinct and coarser dots, and the orange anal band of the hindwing is less prominent. This species ranges from the Ural, across Siberia to the Pacific, and is also found in Corea and on Askold. It is active in June and again in August, and mostly occurs singly.
