Tomocerus minor is a species of springtail that belongs to the family Tomoceridae. This species has a wide distribution range that extends from the Arctic through Europe, Western and Central Asia, to the Sino-Japanese region, as well as Northern and Pacific North America, Hawaii, the Caribbean mainland, and New Zealand. Adults of Tomocerus minor can reach a maximum length of 4.5 millimetres (0.18 inches). It can be identified by antennae that are shorter than its body, along with a characteristic uniform bluish iridescence.
